Join us for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)!

Our lady of Lourdes and Saint Cecilia in Blandford, as a Parish, will be running a programme for those interested in exploring the Catholic Faith. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), is a way for you to learn more and consider joining the Church, which would be at the Easter Vigil in 2027. We will be using the Evangelium course, an interactive resource beautifully produced by The Catholic Truth Society, which explores beauty, truth and goodness in ways that help you understand yourself, learn more about the world and gain experience within our Catholic Faith. The course is available for anyone over the age of 18. Those who are interested under 18 are advised to email and discuss with our RCIA team, as 1:1 sessions, or larger groups will be discussed appropriately.

There are no requirements for joining us on your journey, whether you have been baptised but never confirmed, are a lapsed Catholic, an atheist, an agnostic, of another faith or denomination- or even a Catholic who wants to learn more about Jesus and our Church- the course is welcoming for all.
